About Sam

SAM WOOLF is a NYC-based singer-songwriter known for his original compositions and pitch perfect vocals. Sam has been hailed as a "natural singer whose soul and passion are undeniable in every note he sings." Since moving to NYC in 2022, he has become a resident performer at the Hard Rock Hotel in Times Square, performed at private clubs (Ludlow House and Ned Nomad) and numerous other events.  His performances have garnered millions of views on social media and his recordings have obtained millions of streams. He released the original songs “Worst Thing” and “Light Me Up” in 2023, “Good Ol Times” and “Give a Little Love” in 2022 and will be releasing two additional originals, in 2023 in collaboration with the New York-based singer-songwriting team The Como Bros. 

Sam gained national recognition as a finalist on American Idol’s 13th Season where he placed in the Top 5.  Sam has performed extensively in Michigan, Florida and the Northeast. He co-headlined the Lakewood Ranch Winterfest in Bradenton Florida with the Doobie Brothers, War, and Jefferson Starship and opened for We The Kings during their 10th Anniversary Tour, Sam was a featured performer at Alex Preston’s homecoming concert in New Hampshire, Dream Fest in Tampa, the Warwick Summer Concert Series in New Your, the Boston Arts Festival and the Riverwalk Regatta in Florida.

In 2014, Sam independently released his debut five song EP Pretend, produced by Danny Blume, which reached #9 on the Billboard Heatseeker’s Chart.  In 2016 and 2017, Sam co-wrote and released three new singles, "Fast 'n' Dirty", "Call Me Crazy" and "Stop Thinking About It". He recorded five additional original songs in 2017 with the Como Brothers and noted engineer Kenta Yonesaka at Germano Studios in New York City. "On It" was released in 2018 and debuted at the Music Lodge at the Sundance Film Festival. “Twisted”, “Diamonds on my Chain” and “Coming Home” were released in 2018 and 2019.
